Workspaces support multiple members with four roles: owner, admin, member, and viewer. You can invite anyone with a Todoer account — or send an invite to someone who hasn't signed up yet. Invites are sent by email only — there is no shareable invite link.
Sending an invitation
- Navigate to the workspace you want to share and select it to open its detail panel
- Click Invite in the members section
- Enter the email address of the person you want to invite
- Select a role — owners can assign admin, member, or viewer; admins can only assign member or viewer
- Click Send invite
Workspace owners and admins can send invitations. Admins cannot invite other users as admins.
If the email belongs to an existing Todoer account, the invitation is sent directly. If not, they'll receive an email inviting them to create an account first — the workspace invite will be waiting for them after they verify their email.
The invited user receives an email containing a unique invite link. When clicked, the invite code is verified against the email address used during the invitation — only the intended recipient can accept.
Pending invitations
Invitations that haven't been accepted yet appear in the workspace detail panel. You can cancel a pending invitation at any time.
Removing a member
Workspace owners can remove any member from the workspace, regardless of their role. Admins can remove members and viewers but cannot remove other admins or the owner. Go to the workspace detail panel, find the person, and click Remove. Removed members immediately lose access to the workspace and its contents.
